This 10 day intensive course is dedicated to yoga practitioners and teachers who wish to deepen their practice to understand the asanas in a profound way, understanding the secondary bhandas, the principles of anatomy, how and what an adjustment works for. The difference between an alignment and an adjustment and the purpose of each. How to work with injuries and also how to heal them. How to treat students who end up with back pain at the end of practice, and how to help people with knee injuries.
This course is dedicated to those who wish to learn the true discipline of Yoga and how to practice and adjust to other practitioners. Of course, in ten days we cannot learn a discipline that is more than five thousand years old, nor in 200, 300 or 500 hours, as is done today. But hey, that's the way things are now. To understand the practice many lives are needed, my teacher says that after 15 years of daily practice we are still beginners. But in 5 days we can learn some principles and adjustments to help heal our body and that of our students. I had a fracture in the penultimate vertebra, and thanks to that I knew the practice, I had to use plaster for two months from above the navel to above the knees.
When I had surgery on my right meniscus my doctor told me that I could practice after three months. My teacher called me to the Shala after three weeks to start practicing, after a few weeks my knee started to heal. So I know that a teacher, in addition to helping you delve into the asanas and teaching you that your body is designed to do incredible things with discipline, a teacher can also be an instrument for his students to live happier and with less pain and suffering, in the end I think that's what we come for. To help other beings free themselves from suffering.
It sounds pretty serious, but it's 10 days of very fun and interactive workshops. And a lot of practice, a lot. In the end, to understand something, whatever it is, we must experience it. If I explain to you the content of a soup, its ingredients, its temperature, its size and weight, it is likely that you can have some knowledge of it, but it is useless if you don't eat it. The same with the practice of Yoga, it is possible to understand it, not studying 200 hours or 1000 hours, but with a dedicated, open and conscious practice, and not in order to become teachers, but to transform our prana, to have a better life. calm, and when we feel responsible and ready, share it with the greatest possible devotion.
In this 10 day course, we will practice Ashtanga, since it is my personal practice and it is what I can responsibly share. If you are a practitioner of any other style, you are also welcome, Ashtanga Yoga is a complete system that can teach you a lot in your personal practice or in your teachings as a teacher. As the Yogis say, life is not about learning new things, but about forgetting the old ones.

"The discipline of Yoga begins now."
